My name is Johannes Maron. I build relay, and every line of it runs on code that volunteers gave away. Giving back is the whole point of this page.

Every relay service, forever, at no cost for open-source projects and the communities that maintain them. Giving back starts with the people who build the software the world runs on.

Beyond free service, we give money. We fund the maintainers our work depends on, so they can secure their software while AI multiplies vulnerabilities faster than any volunteer can.

We will contribute back to projects as if they had copyleft licenses

Fixes, features, and documentation flow upstream to every project we depend on, because that is how we want to be treated. Code before cash.
